TELEMATICS DESIGN SOLUTIONS PVT LTD provides a 3-year warranty for GPS equipment. The built-in battery is covered under warranty for 1 year.
The warranty period starts from the date of sale. Warranty replacement is provided within this period if the customer complies with the conditions of operation, storage, installation, and guidelines.

TELEMATICS DESIGN SOLUTIONS PVT LTD does not guarantee compatibility with software or hardware not included in the original package (unless otherwise specified in the Operational Manual). TELEMATICS DESIGN SOLUTIONS PVT LTD is not responsible for damages resulting from violations of the Operational Manual during use, storage, or transportation of the equipment.
Minor wear and surface damages from regular use do not affect warranty rights.
The lifespan of the equipment (excluding the built-in battery) is 10 years.

This warranty does not cover

  • Documentation and packaging materials supplied with the product
  • Additional product accessories (such as power cables, antennas, fuses) unless the accessory was originally defective
  • Any modifications to the product

The right to warranty service is voided in the following cases

  • Failure to comply with operation, storage, or transportation guidelines
  • Damage caused by external factors or influences
  • Unauthorized opening or modification of the device
  • Force majeure circumstances
  • Tampering with warranty seals
  • Using the device with incompatible or malfunctioning equipment/software

If the device is defective due to customer-related issues, the warranty does not apply, and the device may be returned at the customer’s expense.

Service

Before requesting a warranty replacement, please contact our technical support team at support@navtelecom.in for remote diagnostics. In many cases, issues can be resolved remotely, avoiding the need to send the device.

To expedite the assesment, please provide the following details

  • Device type and model
  • NTC Configurator program version
  • Device firmware version
  • Configuration file

If remote diagnostics do not resolve the issue and a manufacturing defect is confirmed, coordinate with your designated manager to arrange for a replacement.

According to the manufacturer’s terms, a defective device will be replaced with a new one.

Shipping

  • The customer is responsible for covering the cost of shipping defective equipment to our office
  • If a warranty replacement is approved, TELEMATICS DESIGN SOLUTIONS PVT LTD will cover the cost of shipping the new device
  • If the device is found to be defective due to customer-related issues, it may be shipped back at the customer’s expense, subject to prior agreement
  • The supplier is not responsible for any loss of the item during return transportation
  • To ensure safe transit, the returned item must be properly packaged to prevent damage.
  • Please send only the device itself, without any accessories
